How it started
After facing the challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, our founder made the difficult decision to close the long-standing East London business, Lifestyle Aluminium, due to financial pressures. However, from the ashes arose Inkosi Aluminium, a new brand dedicated to meeting the aluminium and glass needs of the East London community. With a vision of providing reliable service, quality products, and affordable prices while also contributing to the local economy and creating employment opportunities, Inkosi Aluminium stands as a beacon of hope in the face of adversity.
Anchored in faith, as a small business, the word Inkosi reflects the local languages of Xhosa and Zulu, meaning "Great Chieftain," with Jesus as our ultimate source and provider. The lion head in our logo symbolizes kingship in Christianity and embodies courage, pride, and resilience. It serves as a reminder to stay true to God and our South African heritage in the business world.

How we work

In response to significant economic changes, we have observed a notable increase in the availability and sale of substandard imported goods to consumers. Many hardworking individuals are investing their savings or borrowed funds in products that may only serve them well for a maximum of five years. With this in mind, our goal is to offer our customers high-quality products that are not low-cost imports, all at reasonable prices. We want our customers to feel secure in knowing that they have chosen a service provider who will deliver the level of service they have paid for.
